WHAT IS AVAILABLE?

Our bouquet and event flowers are all seasonal. Which means, whether your scheduling a DIY event or purchasing from our website, all the products will be fresh off the farm for that growing season! From rare specialty tulips and daffodils in the spring, to eucalyptus then dahlias and heirloom chrysanthemums in the fall, we currently grow 128 varieties in our field! Each event or purchase has a 'request box' for special themes and color schemes. We stick to our 80/20 rule when it comes to wholesaling flowers, and typically specialty roses or out-of-season requests (when enough prep/grow time is not given) are wholesaled through a local distributer.

WHAT MAKES OUR FLOWERS DIFFERENT?

Locally grown flowers are cut at the last possible moment to meet your event or purchase timing. It's hard to explain how amazing fresh cut flowers are. When you compare local blooms to those that have been shipped hundreds of miles in tight boxes, there really is no contest. We use proper and appropriate post-harvest care methods, but avoid dangerous chemicals. All our soils utilize sustainable agricultural techniques to help preserve the ecosystem that lives within our clay soils. We use these practices so that you can breath deeply and smell them safely. We are part of the growing seed-to-vase movement, and we grow and nurture uncommon and uncommonly beautiful flowers. We have extensive collections of flowers, and we're always adding more to the farm. From romantic sweet peas to hundreds of sunflowers - our flowers are anything but ordinary.

WHAT IF THERE IS A WEATHER DISASTER AND ALL OF YOUR CROPS ARE RUINED?

Our services begin on our growing farm, which isn’t completely protected with low tunnels throughout the growing season. We start off our field rows in tunnels to help harden-off plants to be prepared for seasonal changes. However, we will never sacrifice your event or happiness on the rare occasion that unpredictable weather damages our crops. If our plants fail, we go next to other local growers whom we know and trust. If we can't find what we need at their farms, we go to the regional floral wholesale distributor in Burlington, VT - the same place local conventional florists source all of their flowers from, and we select flowers and greens that make sense for your style and our location. There is no change in price for the addition of bought-in flowers in these circumstances. All events are covered by our business liability policy and contract agreements.

HOW DOES THE SUBSCRIPTION & DELIVERY WORK?

Our bouquet subscriptions will be delivered on a given day of the week (this may change annually). For our 'Seasonal CSA' we include a glass vase, which will be picked up when the next week bouquet arrives. That way you simply get the beautiful blooms, a vase and never have to acquire multiple un-used vases! For our 'bi-weekly/monthly Subscription' fresh blooms will arrive on the selected frequency with a vase to keep! Perfect for gifting flowers or receiving fresh bouquets all growing season. Our subscription model has the ability to contain re-occuring payments for the respective frequency. In comparison to our CSA, which is a "share" model, purchased ahead of time.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A STANDARD BOUQUET AND A LUSH BOUQUET

Both products offer seasonal blooms, however the biggest difference is the size of the bouquet, presentation and price! Our standard bouquets are typical retail-size arrangements containing approximately 20s stems, comprised of complimenting accent fillers and greenery. Whereas our lush arrangement contain a more specialty design, averaging about 35 high-quality stems!

WHAT IF I WANT TO INCLUDE FLOWERS FOR AN EVENT THAT YOU DON’T GROW ON THE FARM?

While we grow an impressive array of specialty, seasonal flowers, some varieties are not suited to our climate. In that case, we have the ability to order beautiful blooms from other farms locally, and across the regional market. For example, even though we don’t grow many garden roses on our farm, we love supporting farmer friends and sourcing these gorgeous blooms for them. Our goal is to support local while providing the details your dreaming, following out 80/20 rule.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER AS AN EVENT FLORIST?

We are a full-service wedding florist! Including venue visits, consultations, design and custom proposal quotes. We also have a "DIY/Drop-off" Package for those couples not needing installations the day of and would rather pick up their florals. In addition to traditional services, we have "renting packages" for popular decor items, including floating candles, votives, vases and mini-bud centerpieces.
